Overview

Shalom!  Welcome to the Center for Jewish Arts and Humanities.  Whether you are seeking quality entertainment from professionally-trained actors or the latest critically acclaimed film, the Sabes JCC invites you to explore the  Jewish experience in its broadest sense.  We are here to engage you in movement and speech, in understanding Jewish literature, and presenting you with the visual.   We want to amuse, surprise, confound and bring you into the great conversation.   It is a conversation over the new controversial exhibit at the Tychman Shapiro Gallery.  It is a spirited conversation held in the classrooms of the Jewish Institute for Lifelong Learning.  It is an open conversation that springs from wells of creativity and wisdom contained in the models of museum, theater, and university.  Check out our newest programs on the Jewish Arts & Humanities drop down menu above.

Founded in 2007, the Center for Jewish Arts and Humanities is a destination for the celebration of Judaism as a civilization strengthening the Jewish community and an active participant in the  diverse cultural life of the Twin Cities.
