Ethical Start Preschoolers at the ECC are the beneficiaries of an award-winning values training course developed by the Jewish Community Center Association, An Ethical Start. Based on an ancient Jewish text Pirkei Avot—Ethics of the Fathers, this multi-media program deepens family commitment to the practice of ethics and values. An Ethical Start is a groundbreaking way for students, families and teachers to study a classical text and develop a shared vocabulary for raising young children. An Ethical Start is funded in part by a generous multi-year gift from Sabes JCC members Merle and Mort Kane.
