Summer Arts Workshop with puppet artist Lisa Sturz!
Get your summer fun in gear with this daylong shadow puppet workshop at the Open Eye Figure Theatre featuring acclaimed puppet artist Lisa Sturz. Lisa is the Artistic Director of Red Herring Puppets in North Carolina. She designs, builds, and performs with puppets, oversized props, and specialty costumes for theater, film, opera, museum exhibits, schools, libraries, spectacles, parades and special events –such as this one!
Activities include hands-on construction of shadow puppets, history of the art form, and a behind-the-scenes tour of nearby Swedish Institute.
