YOU'RE INVITED TO JOIN THE SABES JCC FIREFLIES!

WHO WE ARE

  • We are a Special Olympics Team, based in St. Louis Park
  • We have approx. 20 athletes on our team who represent a wide range of abilities
  • We have 20 coaches and we often provide one-to-one training
  • Current age range is from 8 -30 years, but we welcome all ages and abilities!

WHAT WE DO

  • We participate in bowling, swimming, and track and field

INTERESTED IN JOINING?

Before joining, athletes must work with the Fireflies to identify specific needs for participation. Often times a one-on-one coach is required to ensure safe training. We encourage PCAs or family members to become coaches in order to adequately support all athletes.

Cost: $40 per season, scholarships are available

SABES JCC SPECIAL OLYMPICS TEAM: FIREFLIES (Ages 8–Adult)

The Fire Flies compete in swimming, track and bowling. Bowling is the fall sport. Swimming is the winter sport and Track is the spring sport.

Track and Field runs April through June.

POTENTIAL COACHES

We are always looking for excellent coaches who are motivated to improve their skills and share in a rewarding activity. No prior experience is required!
