JTEEN PROJECT

COMING SOON:  The JTeen Project

The Sabes JCC, in partnership with the national BBYO and NFTY programs, have created a new collaborative initiative for Twin Cities Jewish teens to re-imagine and reinvigorate the Jewish Youth group experience.  The JTeen project will bring dozens of Jewish teens together regularly – those already engaged and those not yet connected, breaking down barriers to participation and enabling Jewish teens to explore their broad range of interests within a Jewish framework.

.

NFTY and BBYO each bring a unique perspective to engagement for teens, yet share common core values – teen guided programming, focus on personal growth, identity enrichment and leadership development. Both programs value inclusivity, Jewish identity and tikkun olam.

The Sabes JCC will be hiring a Teen Director to lead this initiative and who will run the programming on behalf of the collaboration. Programming is scheduled at begin Fall, 2017.

Sabes JCC:  enriching Jewish life, building Jewish identity, and strengthening our community through programming defined by Jewish values and culture.

NFTY:  a movement that builds strong, welcoming, inspired communities through teen-powered engagement.

BBYO:  the leading pluralistic Jewish teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experience.

We provide opportunities to people of all ages, abilities, races, backgrounds, genders and sexual orientations for inclusion in all programs.
