Why our Jewish Camping Experience?

Camp Olami is dedicated to developing strong, positive identities in its campers. Our Ackerberg Family Campsite provides the ideal environment for making friends, discovering Jewish values, gaining knowledge, building trust, learning teamwork and having fun. New skills and friendships await campers each day. All campers will enjoy swimming in our beautiful Numero-Steinfeldt outdoor pool for free-swim. Campers will also make use of the Barbara Ziman Pentelovitch Memorial indoor pool for fun-filled swim lessons three days each week, taught by a team of certified Water Safety Instructors from our new Sabes JCC Swim Academy. Arts & crafts, sports & games, music, drama, Judaics, Israeli culture, nature, dance and special events are just some of the activities that campers will experience. Each year we look forward to hosting several Israeli Shlichim who provide a unique cultural perspective and enhance the Jewish component of the Camp Olami experience. Other highlights include field trips, theme weeks, over/under nights, all-camp programs, family nights and Kabbalat Shabbat celebrations.

Camp Olami strives to enrich the lives of children by teaching life skills in a fun, safe, Jewish environment while creating lasting friendships and memories. Register today and feel the Ruach!
