The Hebrew Lesson waves myth, history and humor into the story of a Hebrew school teacher and her thwarted attempt to spread her father’s ashes in Jerusalem.  Directed by Zaraawar Mistry and supported with live music of multicultural musicians Tim O’Keefe, Maryam Yusefzadeh, and Greg Herriges. The Hebrew Lesson is performed by Esther Ouray, an actress, puppeteer, dancer, director, teacher and cultural activist.

Each performance will be followed by a moderated discussion with the artists and audience.
