Something Ventured Premiere Minnesota Screening
At the Showplace Icon Theatre

Already receiving rave reviews from the New York Times, BusinessWeek magazine and MSNBC, this documentary tells the true story of the partnership forged between the original innovators in Silicon Valley like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, and the venture capitalists who took the risk to fund their fledgling start-up high tech companies enabling the likes of Apple, Cisco, Microsoft and Genentec to effectively change our world.

The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion on the next wave of technology and innovation. The panel will include Rich Kupchella, former News Anchor and Founding Partner and President of Bring Me the News, an Israeli high tech expert on growing business relationships between Minnesota companies and Israel., and the film's executive producer. Event Media and Pre-event sponsors are Twin Cities Business Magazine and Sopranos Restaurant; the list of corporate and individual sponsors, including Whitebox Advisors, is growing.
