Programs & Classes / Infants-Pre-K

Learning begins at birth. Therefore, the Sabes JCC provides opportunities for exploration and growth from infancy on. It is important for our youngest members to learn new skills and expand their interests while spending time with other children their age in a structured environment. Our classes are a wonderful enhancement to any child’s day.

Start Smart Soccer

In this parent/child soccer class, the focus is on fun and getting the player to enjoy the game. Basic game concepts are taught and one or two main themes will be reinforced throughout practices. Players will be encouraged to use their imagination and be creative in order to discover techniques for themselves. We will look to the parents to help the players understand directions and to repeat instructions if necessary. Parents will be asked to be involved, but as the player becomes more confident and comfortable by themselves, their independence from the parent is encouraged. Parents are expected to be present the entire class to help or participate.
