course centers around one major question: can Israel be accommodated in the Middle East , from the viewpoints of both Israelis and
surrounding Arab and Muslim populations? Discussing this question will involve
the following topics: Israelis’ visions of Israel and the Middle East; “Jewish”
and “Democratic” Israel: Conjunction or Schism?; Arab and Muslim views of
Israel; Israel and its Arab minority between integration and alienation; and
Jerusalem as the Bone of Contention between Jewish Israelis and Muslim Arabs.

Soul Painting
This unique art class is back by popular demand, and introduces the painting process as a way to access and express your creative and spiritual self without expectation of the final outcome. Emphasis is on the organic and intuitive versus the product-oriented or technical art skills. A form of visual journaling and transformative art, Soul Painting is for anyone seeking personal insight or change. Let go of your
inner critic, have fun and discover what your creative voice has to say! Class
includes painting combined with guided imagery, light physical movement, journal
writing, and small group dialogue. You will take home a meaningful portfolio of
your visual journey. Please bring a journal – All other supplies are included in
