3 & 5 Day Programs 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
and 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday
Our extended day program provides additional learning and play opportunities for children in need of a longer day. Under the direction of certified staff, children enjoy art, science, cooking, music, games, large and small muscle activities in "family groupings". Children enrolled in extended care also have the opportunity to enroll in afternoon classes offered by other JCC departments during fall, winter and spring quarters. Our extended day can be used on a regular basis or occasional basis.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Each of our programs is headed by a certified early childhood teacher and assistant experienced in working with young children. Age-appropriate experiences are provided that encourage physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. A Jewish curriculum based on learning through first-hand experience is an integral part of the program. We prepare for Jewish holidays through activities in the language arts, music, art and cooking.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT
We encourage all of our parents to become involved on our Parent Committee. This committee is comprised of families from all of our programs within the Early Childhood Department. You must maintain a JCC family or single parent membership during the entire time your child is enrolled in an Early Childhood Program.
