For the more serious actor who is ready to step into the world of theatre, the Institute provides the kind of training found in conservatory programs across the United States. Taught by highly skilled artist-educators, the Institute focuses on character study, roles and relationships, and alternative acting methods.

SESSION TWO:
Actors are introduced to the art of physical theatre as taught by the great teachers of Europe. Exploring text through physical movement, actors learn techniques seldom taught in this part of the world. Final presentation on August 9 at 7:00 p.m.

Emerging Actor Studio
(entering grades 5-8) |
SESSION ONE:
This intensive actor training program is for those who love to act and want to learn the craft from some of the Twin Cities’ best acting instructors. Scene study, vocal production and actor movement are just some of the topics explored in the JCC’s Emerging Actor Workshop. |
