Sabes JCC Early Childhood Center "Where the early learning years are infused with enriching experiences and community, in a Jewish environment." ECC Parent Involvement Parent involvement contributes to the overall quality of programming at the ECC and is beneficial to your child’s experience at the ECC. Ways to get involved: Room Parents ~ work with ECC Director and Classroom teachers to plan special events for the classroom community. Teacher Appreciation ~ work with ECC Director to coordinate Teacher Appreciation Week in April and monthly breakfasts for the staff. Fundraising ~ work with ECC Assistant Director of Administration to coordinate fundraisers throughout the year. New Families ~ connect with new families when they start at the ECC to welcome them to our community. Social Action ~ work with ECC Director to coordinate social action events for families to participate in. I Love to Read ~ assist the ECC Assistant Director of Programming with maintaining the lending library and work with ECC Director and Assistant Director of Programming on coordinating special events for I Love to Read Month. PreK Graduation ~ work ith ECC Director and Assistant Director of Programming to organize PreK graduation. Advisory Committee ~ work with ECC Director and Assistant Directors in the development of ECC vision, policies, and procedures through quarterly meetings.
Or, just connect with your child's classroom teacher to volunteer in the classroom. Teacher's love extra help on swimming days or to have special visitors to read a book or help with an activity! We encourage you to share your talents with us and choose what works best for you and your interests.
