Beginning Karate
Karate or Tae Kwon Do (Korean Karate) is a martial art teaching discipline, focus, awareness, coordination, and self-defense. Tae Kwon Do means “open hand” – thus it is a martial art without the use of weapons. Uniforms are optional and are available for purchase through the class instructor. Optional belt testing at the end of the session based on the participant’s readiness will be available for an extra fee and arranged through the instructor.

Advanced Karate
Class is geared to those with previous Karate experience. Must be at least a gold belt and have had two sessions of our beginning Karate class and receive instructor approval before advancing to this session. Sabes Swim Stars
This class is for 2-8 grade students with intermediate swim skills who are interested in a sample of what a swim team is like. Participants can swim 2 or all 3 days in the week. Practices will include stroke and endurance development, conditioning techniques, time clock trials, and inter-squad competitions with prizes at the end of the course.

Hop, Skip & Jump Rope
Have you ever tried to jump rope, but thought it was too hard? Have you ever seen people jumping rope on T.V. and wished you could be as good as them? Are you curious to learn how to do an “awesome annie”, a “toad”, a “caboose”, double dutch, wheels and freestyle? Colleen Somerville is a national jump rope champion, and she started learning when she was 9 years old. Take this awesome class and you will amaze yourself and your friends with all the tricks you learn!

Snorkeling
Children must have a Red Cross swim level of 3 or above. Class will consist of instruction on the use of fins and snorkels, practice surface dives and breath control, collect objects under water and play under water games

Tennis

Aqua Madness
Instruction and competition in specific water sports i.e. underwater hockey, basketball, and water polo. Class will also consist of relays, class constructed games, shallow and deep end games, and possible diving instruction and water treading techniques in the deep end.

NFL Flag Football
Play football with this popular after school program. New teams formed every week and coaches play as quarterbacks. Everyone participating receives an NFL jersey.

Club Invention - Bolder Builders
The town of Unlucky has a most accurate name. Destroyed by an earthquake, the town must now be rebuilt. Coming to the help of architect and engineer, Archie Tek, club members design and construct the buildings that will bring the town back to life. From building simple tents and elaborate town structures to imploding buildings, club members race to change the town name from “Unlucky” to “Lucky.”
