Personal Training
The mission of our personal training program is to educate and motivate individuals to achieve their fitness goals through personalized instruction and guidance designed to enhance results and provide improved quality of life.
Personal training provides you with a program designed to meet your individual needs. Our nationally certified personal training professionals will create a fitness program based on your specific goals. Personal training takes you a step beyond your typical exercise regimen and helps you to eliminate any guess work. Personal training will also provide you with the variety, support, consistency, guidance, education, and motivation…to help you exceed your expectations!
Since everyone has unique goals, we offer a variety of program formats to meet your needs. The following formats are available:
WellStart Program
The WellStart program in an individualized, personalized fitness support program. WellStart is designed for new members or individuals looking to be successful in their goals. This program provides needs based support and health coaching based on your experience level and need for support.
Get started by filling out the WellStart and Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaires. Once you fill them out you may drop them off at the Health & Fitness Desk, email: [email protected] , or fax at 952.381.3401 attention: Personal Training.

Private One-on-One Training (1 Hour)
This is the traditional full hour of individualized personal training during each session.
Express One-on-One (1/2 Hour)
This program is designed for those individuals that are looking for an intense workout of shorter duration. The perfect fit for anyone with a tight schedule and a desire for a concentrated workout.
Partner Training (1 Hour — 2 People)
Are you looking for the opportunity to train with a friend? Partner training has been proven to increase commitment to a fitness regimen.
Group Training (1 Hour — 3-6 People)
A new personal training service at the Sabes JCC. Group Training is for those who want to work with friends, co-workers, teammates, or a group of people you have never met before. Our Group Training Schedule offers a variety of classes that will have a focus on different goals. Each workout is based on scientific exercise progression and sound physiological principles. Within weeks, you’ll notice a difference in your strength, your energy, and your overall fitness level.
