THE SABES JCC AND MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL HAVE TEAMED
UP TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A FANTASTIC PROGRAM OPPORTUNITY!
The Sabes JCC presents MLB’s “ROOKIE LEAGUE"
- 7 week program
- Sundays starting July 8, 1:30 PM at Aquila Field (#4)
- Grades 1-3
- Pitching machine is used for accuracy and consistency
- All equipment is provided (balls, bats, uniforms, helmets and gloves)
- Games will be cancelled due to heavy rain and there will not be any make-up dates
- Weeks 1-3: Skills Format
- Weeks 4-7: Skills, with game play
The Primary Goals of the Rookie League are:
- promote the game of baseball
- increase participation by players, their families and the community
- teach basic fundamentals of baseball
- create a climate of enthusiasm and fun
