J.O.S.L. BASKETBALL 2009
  • Season will begin February 22. All teams must be registered by February 15, 9 a.m.
  • League fee: $350 (includes $100 returnable forfeit fee)
  • All fees are due before your first scheduled game time
  • Games will be played Sunday nights between 5 and 8 p.m.
  • The season will consist of a 6 to 8 weeks, plus playoffs (factoring in spring break)
  • Teams must have at least 8 players
  • Games will be played 4 on 4
  • Enrollment is limited to the first 12 teams and will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis

KINDERGARTEN

This co-ed league is for children in Kindergarten or 5 years old. It’s an opportunity for your child to play with their friends, and learn the very basics of games. Each game is timed, has a referee and score is not kept. Game times are 45 minutes long. Basket height is 6.5 feet and a size 4 ball is used.

This group offers another chance to play with your friends, but slightly more rules are enforced than in the Kindergarten division. This league transitions your child from beginner basketball to understanding and playing by the rules. Basket height is 8 1/2 feet and a size 5 ball is used.
