2008 JCC Maccabi ArtsFest in Minneapolis was a huge success!

The Sabes Jewish Community Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota hosted the 2008 JCC Maccabi ArtsFest August 17 – 22, 2008. Over 170 Jewish teens entering grades 8 through 12, representing over 50 cities from the United States, Canada and abroad attended the five-day festival of performing, visual, and literary arts. The JCC Maccabi ArtsFest is designed to inspire Jewish teenaged artists through a dynamic combination of workshops, performances, exhibitions, recognition of excellence, community service, and social activities. Teens develop their individuality through the medium of artistic expression while strengthening their bonds to their Jewish heritage, community, and Israel.
