2011 Parent Packs and Camp Forms Coming soon!

Label your camper’s belongings

At the end of summer, there is always a pile of campers' belongings left at camp. This is an expensive waste for our campers (and their parents!) As a way to target the problem of lost belongings and a large lost and found closet, we are encouraging our campers to label all belongings.

We have partnered with Mabel's Labels, a company with all types of labels that are colorful, indestructible and fun! With a special 'Camp Pack' available and also a larger “Big Combo”, your camper can label absolutely everything!

We look forward to sending campers home with ALL their belongings this summer! Go to www.campolami.mabel.ca and then place your order.

Host an Israeli

Now a tradition, Camp Olami is bringing staff from Israel known as Shlichim (emissaries). Shlichim are in their early twenties and most have just finished
their army service. These talented individuals will be here for the summer as part of our camp community working with our staff to bring Israel a little closer
to us.

We are seeking warm, welcoming families to house our Shlichim and be their home-away-from-home this summer. Please consider opening your home to an Israeli guest for approximately three weeks. This can be a fun experience for you and your family. Many of our Shlichim and host families form lasting relationships, maintaining contact with each other long after the summer has ended. Shlichim, in turn, are delighted to entertain their host families when they visit Israel. This program clearly strengthens the
ties between the American Jewish community and Israel. Don’t miss your chance to take part in this enriching experience!

If you are interest in housing a Shaliach this summer, please contact Danya Kornblum at 952.381.3344 or [email protected].

Inclusion Program

Our programs are fully inclusive. In particular, the Sabes JCC takes pride in providing support for the integration of children with special needs. The Sabes JCC summer camp staff works with parents to make the camp experience positive and successful for each child.

If your child needs assistance, please apply early and indicate his/her needs on the application form.

For questions, contact Anita Lewis, Inclusion Director, at 952.381.3489 or [email protected].
