Donating Supplies
Donate supplies for survivors resettling in Minnesota, such as new bedding and baby clothes, in the red bins at Twin Cities synagogues, the JCCs and Jewish organizations. This effort is in partnership with local African American organizations that are serving the needs of evacuees in their communities. The needs of survivors change frequently, so check www.MinnDakJCRC or call/email Elaine Aron at 612-338-7816/ [email protected] for updated information.
Donating Money
Donate at www.JewishMinnesota.org, sponsored by the Minneapolis Jewish Federation and the St. Paul United Jewish Fund and Council, or make out a check to the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and write “Hurricane Katrina” on the memo line (go to www.MinnDakJCRC.org for more information). 100% of these funds go to disaster assistance.
