- Competitive swimmer since 6th grade
- High School Career: Excelled in 50 backstroke and freestyle, 100 backstroke and freestyle, 50 fly and 500 freestyle; earned the "Most Improved" award, the "Heidi (Raasch) Oquist" award, and in "Most Dedicated" as well as lettering.
