I have been preparing for this moment my entire adult life. I have always sensed that in a world inundated with injustice and greed, a society rooted in systemic oppression and fear, that one day, we would reach a moment of unwavering halt and have no choice but to stop, pause, and reevaluate the way we propel our lives and this planet to turn. I have never once doubted our ability to make it through this unthinkable and unprecedented time. I have spent my entire life knowing that we can actually see world peace. And so, for my first ever online concert, that is my hope. That somehow we can find a way – across screens, across time zones, across border and state and country lines – to feel unshaken by the unraveling around us and instead feel connect to our deep, deep knowings within. We are the ones we have been waiting. Change is in our hands. And we’ve been here this entire time.
