The Jewish Alternative to the Usual Holiday Fare The Witness Theater Project brings Yachad Jewish teens together with Holocaust survivors to create a performance based on the experience and life-long impact of surviving the Holocaust. Since November participants have been sharing real-life stories in an effort to frame Jewish identity, community and responsibility while passing on their memories of survival. Focusing on sharing individual histories and applying those lessons to our future, the ensemble of survivors and students have worked and played together to create a performance that honors everyone’s story.

This program is a partnership between Yachad, Sabes JCC, Minneapolis Jewish Federation, Legacy Heritage Fund, Tolerance Minnesota of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota & the Dakotas, and the Joint Distribution Committee Eshel Program.

Recommended for 10+.
