theatre & arts camp
Our summer theatre and arts camps teach the fundamentals of theatre, music, dance and art by offering a variety of in-depth programs in an inclusive Jewish environment. This innovative and unique summer experience provides youth with an excellent performing and visual arts education that promotes growth for all abilities. Our goal is to help young artists gain self-confidence, explore new concepts, and stretch themselves while having fun, making new friends, and exploring Jewish culture and values.

Set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, Guys And Dolls JR. is an oddball romantic comedy that takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong. Guys And Dolls JR. is a treat for audiences and performers of any age.
This intensive four-week program teaches the fundamentals of theater, music, and dance – all in the process of creating a fully-staged production of the hit musical, Guys And Dolls JR! All participants will perform in the show and will work with professional theater artists who will coach them in the improvement of their acting, singing, and dance skills. Participants will engage in daily theater and improv games, participate in workshops such as costume, make-up and set design, go swimming in the JCC’s outdoor pool, and make meaningful friendships through the theater ensemble they’ll build! Space is limited so register early!
