WHY JEWISH HUMOR?
Rabbi Glaser of Temple Israel in Minneapolis, sums it up best: “With over 4,000 years plus of tsurus (woe) behind us, Jews have three options – to despair, to repair, or to laugh. Option one is out of the question, so we opt for fixing and shticking. Humor is a blessing from G-d, one of the most important parts of Jewish culture.”
Now in its 11th year, the Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival brings together thousands of people to enjoy renowned local, national and international artists whose work reflects the brilliance and diversity of the Jewish community.
With something for everyone the Festival creates space for laughter, connection and joy in the middle of a Minnesota winter.
