Teens learn, grow, and foster life-long relationships. We have something for everyone – arts, sports and the opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a fun and supportive summer camp environment. Whether you are looking to become a Staff in Training (SIT) or want the perfect summer job, Camp Olami is your summer destination.

LEADERS IN TRAINING (LIT)
(GRADES 7–8 IN FALL 2019)

Join us for this new and unique leadership training initiative! Leaders in Training (LITs) will work closely with campers to learn about child development, gain leadership skills and participate in a variety of Camp Olami activities with their peers. Participants will complete the Red Cross Babysitter’s Training* with a certified instructor. This program bridges camper life and learning to be a responsible staff member. You certainly don’t want to miss it! All LIT candidates must fill out an additional application, provide two references and participate in a pre-camp training.

*Hour requirements must be met.

LIT Options:

Session 1: JUNE 17–JULY 12
Session 2: JULY 15–AUGUST 9
LITs can work one or both sessions. Teens will either receive a stipend of $5 for every full day worked, or can receive community service hours. In addition, each LIT will receive a T-shirt and have one overnight per session. SPACE IS LIMITED

Camp fees: (G) $845, (M) $655

**All LIT candidates must be available for the entire session and Pre-Camp Training on Sunday, June 2.

STAFF IN TRAINING  (SIT)
(GRADES 9–10 IN FALL 2019)

What do the outdoors, awesome children and leadership skills have in common? The Camp Olami SIT program! Participants will work closely with campers and staff to learn what it takes to be a full-fledged camp staff member. SITs will learn about being a role model to campers, leadership skills, tools for working with children and peers and so much more. SITs will spend time as a group furthering their staff and leadership skills, as well experience program planning.

All SIT candidates must fill out an additional application, provide two references and participate in a pre-camp training.
